Italian villa for rent on the Amalfi coast, Campania
This lovely holiday villa lies on the Amalfi coast, in southern Italy. Sleeping six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it lies in a superb position between Positano and Sorrento.
The villa is reached via a minor road that joins the main Meta-Amalfi Road; this in turn connects Sorrento to Positano, and is about 7km from both towns. The design of the villa, which is on two terraced floors, follows a rounded form and combines the outside spaces (terrace and garden) with the internal rooms. The internal spaces are full of light, and furnished with valuable Neapolitan pieces from the 1800s – among them the beautiful billiard table.
The house (floor area 300 square metres) has every modern convenience, including dishwasher, washing machine, telephone,
satellite TV, and air conditioning in the bedrooms. Villa Ettore has a number of little villages nearby, where you will find general
food shops and typical restaurants serving local dishes. It is an excellent starting point for trips to all of the Amalfi Coast, to Naples, and to Paestum. The swimming pool is open 29 April to 21 October 2006. The nearest airport is Capodichino Naples, 50km away.
The first floor has a spacious entrance hall opening to a fan-shaped living room. This has big balconies with breathtaking sea views on the left, a master bedroom with air conditioning and a full en-suite bathroom with shower. Next comes the dining area with pool view, a fully equipped kitchen with exit to the terrace on the right and a laundry room.
