We have returned home from Italy and I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Tortori. Canaiolo was a delightful apartment and the view was wonderful. We look forward to returning another time.

Please pass my commendation for the property manager, Nicola Gebendinger, on to the owner. Nicola was very helpful and handled our needs and requests with great competence.

Just a quick word for your record with respect to www.rentinginitaly.com.

For the second year in a row now we used the site to book holidays in Italy : in 2002 we rented an apartment in TORTORI (Montespertoli), which we rented again this year and also I think a room in MONTEFALCO (B & B in Villa). By the way both places were delightful and extremely well kept, and we again appreciated an excellent dinner at your own PODERE TORRICELLA. I shall write separately on this because I would like Fattoria del Turco to ship some of that delicious Chanti wine to me in Belgium (if you do so ...)

The website is really useful and well presented, with prime quality properties, and the booking procedures are quite easy compared to other sites. This is about all I have to say at this time, I will certainly visit the site again when planning our vacation next year, we will probably be looking for something around Porto Ercole or Grossetto.

To answer your email about your web site www.rentinginitaly.com...

The web site is easy to use, attractive, contains good information and easy procedures to make a reservation. The information on the web was true to the actual apartment, a very reassuring feature.

After we had made our reservation, we found the subsequent email communications to be friendly and helpful, a nice touch.

We had no significant problems when arriving or departing the property, with the minor exception that no one was there to farewell us and take our final payment, even though we had made specific arrangements - we had to leave a note saying to debit our credit card.

You are welcome to publish my comments.

We did enjoy our stay in Italy and really loved Tuscany. The apartment we chose (Tortori) was very well placed to make day trips to the surrounding cities.
