Just a note to let you know how much we enjoyed the Castello di Volognano. It is a wonderful property and we have had some memorable times there. Silvana was an extremely welcoming hostess to us.

Dear Cris,

  Left the castle yesterday. We had a wonderful time -- it exceeded our expectations. Sorry we were not able to meet you. We had no internet access so we could not email you and the phones were down so we couldn't call you.  We would not have been able to see you on Wednesday at 3:00 in any event as we were on a day trip. However, I wish we could have arranged to meet you at another time. We're in Rome today and that's the only reason I can contact you now.
