Villa La Sfacciata, Tuscany, is a beautiful old stone farmhouse rental, totally restored, standing in a very private setting on an wonderful 10 acre estate of olive groves, with a large private swimming pool overlooking the spectacular Chianti countryside.

Its isolated and dominant position ensures complete tranquility for an unforgettable holiday stay in this Tuscan paradise. The 3400 square foot villa offers a very spacious ambience, fully restored in harmony with the traditional Tuscan style, and boats all modern comforts. Its astonishing restoration has maintained the traditional Tuscan style, saving the old terracotta floors, the wood beamed ceilings and stone portals made of lovely ‘pietra serena’.

The villa can accommodate up to 16 people. During the rental period, the owner lives in the restored barn behind the main house in order to guarantee total independence, complete privacy and exclusive use of the swimming pool to guests. In the midst of olive groves with a full southern exposure, the swimming pool (6 m x 12 m - available from May1st through October 31 st.) ensures sun continuously from morning 'til evening. The house includes 2 panoramic terraces under the trees. A large table has been set up in the garden near the swimming pool to provide a perfect place for sitting outdoors, dining or just for admiring superb views of the countryside. There is a gazebo.

Villa La Sfacciata is centrally located, and makes an excellent rental base for exploring the Chianti region. It lies roughly equidistant between Siena and Florence, and just 3 kilometres away is the town of Montespertoli. Pisa and the seaside are approximately 50 Km away. For a large group, this is an excellent choice, combining privacy with easy access to all the main points of interest in central Tuscany!

Accommodation is on two floors:
Ground floor: a beautiful large kitchen - laundry/utility room - 1 suite with parlor, bedroom with large bed, private bathroom (shower), wc and terrace - 1 bedroom with large bed and private bathroom / shower, wc - an office room with Internet connection, fax and photocopy - a large dining room with 2 tables and a parlour - a beautifull living room with big Tuscan fireplace, a comfortable sofa with two armchairs and direct access to the terrace with panoramic view.

First floor - 5 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with large bed, private bathroom with tub/shower and wc - 2 bedroom with large beds (that can be transformed in singles) - 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds (or 3 single beds on request) - 1 very large bathroom with tub/shower and wc. The furnishings are purposely rather sober and authentic, but bedrooms boast beautiful and very elegant wrought-iron bedsteads and candidly white bedspreads, old rustic dressers and other furniture from by-gone days, all creating a very nostalgic and ‘retro’ country atmosphere of beauty and harmony.

Notwithstanding its antique style, the house offers all modern comforts: a well equipped kitchen with a 5-burner stove, electric oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, large fridge and freezer; a laundry with washing machine and dryer; a living room with piano and a first-class Denon® stereo system (2 x 150w) with a good selection of CD's (classical, Jazz, Salsa, Pop etc…), satellite TV, LCD TV, VCR, DVD, cordless phone, fax and free broadband WI-FI. There is parking for 10 cars, and pets are welcome.
