Villa Montaione is set in rolling acres of cultivated land, on a country road just 20 minutes drive from the medieval towns of Volterra, San Miniato and San Gimignano. The nearest centre with a historical area is Montaione where you will find a good selection of shops and restaurants. There are also a couple of excellent restaurants within a minute's drive drive of the villa.

The villa offers an irresistible combination of contemporary comfort and traditional character. Your neighbors are the charming owners who speak English and are available in case of need.

The large garden and pool are regularly maintained and are the perfect spot to relax and unwind. A built-in barbecue is also available for guests' use.

The villa is built on two floors and is bright and spacious.

On the arched ground floor are the spacious dining area and a living room equipped with comfy sofas and chairs providing the perfect setting even on cooler days when the open fireplace adds to the comfortable ambience. There is also a WC on this floor. The main dining area has French doors that open onto the superb covered loggia. Equipped with a large wooden table and chairs for al fresco dining, the loggia is perfect for contemplating the sunsets over stunning views of the valley. This immaculately restored stone house is also naturally cool when the temperature rises. The superbly equipped kitchen with cooker (full oven and microwave), a full fridge freezer, dishwasher and beautiful marble table and chairs will be appreciated by the keenest cook. A stairway from the living room and kitchen leads to the first floor and the four airy double/twin bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms and air conditioning.

The scenic swimming pool (12m x 6m, open May to mid October) has a gazebo offering a shady retreat and equipped with table and chairs. The pool is for the sole use of guests at Villa Montaione.
