The Observatory offers delightful 2 and 3 bedroom apartments each with its own outdoor area and use of the beautiful swimming pool. The property can also be rented as a whole, sleeping up to 12 guests, making it ideal for family gatherings or groups of friends. Please note however that there are no facilities for younger children making the property unsuitable for guests under 7 years old. This spacious and comfortable house is the perfect place to relax and unwind, and the wonderful pool and gardens offer the perfect escape from everyday life. The main building is home to the owners and their docile dog and cat, and while they are generally out during the day they are available if needed and there is a helpful caretaker on duty when the owners are absent.

The two spacious apartments are immaculately restored with heavy beamed ceilings, cool terracotta tiles, and fine antiques providing a traditional feel that blends harmoniously with the modern features - everything from filter coffee makers to microwave ovens has been thought of.

Orione apartment is a very spacious and airy apartment with impressive wooden beams. Accessed from ground level into the large living room furnished with antiques and comfortable sofas, it has two spacious double bedrooms each with an attractively tiled shower room. One of the bedrooms opens onto the private terrace. A staircase from the ground floor leads to a mezzanine level with two single beds. The kitchen is equipped with electric hob and grill, American style coffee maker and a full fridge with freezer (no oven or dishwasher), and leads onto a graceful loggia with views of the surrounding countryside. This covered loggia is furnished for alfresco dining and with deckchairs. Off the main living room there is also a bright and charming sitting room which with its comfortable chairs and natural light is ideal as a reading retreat.
Aquarius apartment is on the lower ground level and is accessed via a lovely stone staircase offering views over the gardens and swimming pool. There is a secondary entrance gate that may be used by guests on request. This is an elegant apartment, all on one level, with traditional arched ceilings and wooden beams. The spacious interiors are furnished with period pieces and antiques including an original 18th century wooden door by the main entrance. A broad hallway leads to the two double and one single bedrooms and two spacious and attractivlely tiled shower rooms (one is ensuite). One of the double bedrooms has access to the gardens. An extra single bed can be provided on request. Outside there is a delightful covered loggia furnished for al fresco dining and a lovely soft evergreen lawn.

Florence and Pisa airports are approximately 1 hour 15 minutes drive, the nearest shopping towns of San Gimignano and Gambassi Terme are 10 minutes away, and within a few minutes walk there is a good restaurant, a Spa centre and a tennis court. There is a nine hole golf course only 10 minutes drive away at Castelfalfi. Delicious home cooking by the caretaker is available in your apartment on request.
