ITALIAN VACATION RENTAL APARTMENTS

The Montagnana apartments are situated close to the town of Montespertoli, Tuscany, approximately 30 minutes drive from Florence. The property sits on green hills and offers 360° views of the surrounding countryside - the location was enough to tempt the Acciaioli family, wealthy Florentine bankers, away from Florence and make it their home.

The houses were recently restructured and have retained their classic Tuscan characteristics, with terracotta floors, and some of them with exposed wooden beams. Each one has at its disposal a garden with plants and flowers, where it is possible to relax, perhaps enjoying one of the good wines of the district; in addition there is a swimming pool of 7 x 14 metres, with solarium and a barbecue.

The accommodation and its location offer the ideal mix for those who wish to combine art, history and relaxation. In the area there are many mediaeval villages, and the property is within easy reach of the major Tuscan cities: only 20 km from Florence, 50 km from Pisa and Siena. Very nearby you'll find supermarkets, restaurants, tennis courts, golf, a Post Office, banks, pharmacy and other shops.

There are are a total of four holiday rental apartments, sleeping from 2 to six people - La Loggia (2+2), Il Gelsomino (2), La Pergola (4) and La Cipressaia (5+1)

La Loggia (2+2 guests, 75+25m²)

An old hay barn, recently restructured respecting the authentic architectural style, with terracotta tiled floors and exposed wooden beams, decorated with furniture of the period. The apartment consists of a large sitting-room with satellite TV and a large divan-bed (160x190 cm), a complete kitchen with fridge/freezer, and a large bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Outside there is a large loggia (25m²) with table and chairs suitable for al fresco dining. A shared barbecue is available.

La Cipressaia (5 guests, 75m²)

A classic Tuscan building surrounded by olive trees and cypresses, with a loggia (outside terrace), and a private garden for sunbathing. Inside it is decorated in the characteristic Tuscan style, with terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams. It is divided into a large sitting-room with satellite TV, a complete kitchen with fridge/freezer, a bedroom with huge double bed, a small single bedroom, and a mansard loft with two beds. There is also a nice bathroom, with shower, toilet and bidet. A shared barbecue is available.

La Pergola (4 guests, 50m²)

Two-room apartment in antique Tuscan construction. It has an independent entrance, living/dining room with kitchenette, two double rooms, bathroom with shower, satellite TV, and loggia for al fresco dining. A shared barbecue is available.
