Villa La Loggia comprises two luxurious apartments in a graceful tuscan country villa which can be rented as a single dwelling. Peacefully situated at the end of a private access track, just 700 metres from the delightful hilltop town of Montaione, Villa La Loggia offers an enviable degree of seclusion and the luxury of its own private swimming pool. The pool and the surrounding garden are very well kept and completely fenced-in.

Situated at the rear of the Villa, the pool offers privacy and wonderful views over the underlying countryside; it's bean shaped and measures 6 x12 metres (depth of 1.20-1.60 metres), has hydromassage features, and is finished with mosaic tiles.

Set among vineyards and undulating acres of olive groves, Villa La Loggia has been transformed into two semi-detached but completely independent cottages. Both cottages have their own private patio and garden area, ideal for enjoying your al fresco meals while gazing at the panorama below. The estate also offers a vegetable garden and orchard to which guests have access for fresh produce. The quality of furnishings and fittings is superb, using the best of Italian style and taste, and the spaciousness of the apartments makes them fell more like a home than holiday apartments.

LA LOGGIA No. 1 (Sleeps 4, 3 bathrooms)

This characteristic stone cottage has its own private patio and garden with barbeque. The day area is on the ground floor: Living/dining room with fire place, satellite television and safe box, a large beautifully green-tiled bathroom with shower, and a kitchen The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge and freezer.
First floor: master double bedroom with en suite bathroom (shower), twin/double bedroom, also has bathroom with shower.

LA LOGGIA No. 2 (Sleeps 6, 3 bathrooms)

The red cottage has its own private loggia and garden with barbeque. The day area is on the ground floor: Living/dining room with satellite television and safe box, a bathroom with shower, and a kitchen with fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, hob, oven, fridge and freezer.
First floor: two master double bedrooms, one twin/double bedroom , 2 bathrooms with shower.

None of the apartments at Villa La Loggia has a land-line telephone, but the owner is happy to provide you with a cellphone free of charge, except of course for calling charges. Communal laundry facilities: washing machine, iron & ironing board - payable locally.
Leisure facilities: mountain bikes for hire, tennis table.

The drive from Villa La Loggia to the mediaeval towers of San Gimignano - just 15 km - is spectacularly beautiful, and the mediaeval hilltop town of Certaldo Alto is even closer (10 km). Venturing further a field, the other jewels in Tuscany's crown - Florence, Siena, Pisa - are all less than an hour's drive, so it is location, as well as beauty and comfort and warm hospitality, which makes this property so special.

No one lives above the apartment, and private parking is available 20 yards from the villa. There is a restaurant/pizzeria 800 metres from the villa (may be closed some weeks in August). A bank, drug store, food shops, supermarket and post office are all to be found 1km from the property. Golf Castelfalfi (18 holes) is 12 km away. Pets are not allowed. Please note that you don't need a car to stay here, and there is a taxi service at 800 metres from the villa. There are also, once a week, guided coach excursions - with a local guide - to Siena and San Gimignano, even onto Pisa and Lucca.
