Il Ciglio is a barn that belongs to a rural Tuscan estate, recently restored and provided with maximum comfort. Next to the barn is the main villa, where the caretakers reside, but the privacy of Il Ciglio is guaranteed. This rental property is well located for visiting the splendid cities of Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa, and is framed by the glorious Tuscan countryside.

The property stands out in its surrounding natural beauty, with a very large garden (with children's games) that extends to the front entrance of the property; on the opposite side you'll find the spacious verandah from where you can take in the glorious views.

The verandah hosts a number of lounging chairs, a sofa, and is equipped so that guests can dine al fresco. The barn is easily accessible via a dressed road - short and in very good condition. There is a private parking area with an electronic gate.

The creative renovation carried out by the owner have combined tradition by preserving the original ceilings with their wooden beams and technology, equipping the kitchen, the bathroom and the bedrooms in a modern functional style.

Ground floor - a generous living room with fireplace, Satellite TV, bathroom with shower, plus a very well equipped kitchen, with electric oven and fridge, dishwasher, freezer, and, outside, a panoramic terrace with barbecue.

First floor - two bedrooms, one master bedroom with a canopied bed, the other bedroom with two twin beds; there is a bathroom with Jacuzzi for maximum comfort and relaxation.

Il Ciglio is located among the hills of the countryside of Cerreto Guidi, hills which dominate the course of the river Arno. The house is 35 km from Florence, 50 from Pisa, 40 from Lucca and 70 from Siena. It is 6 km away from the town of Vinci, famous for being Leonardo’s birthplace; other historical and cultural centres are easy to reach, such as San Miniato, San Gimignano, Certaldo and Volterra.
