A 19th century palazzo in the heart of Florence, just a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio, boasting five-star amenities in these ten sunny apartments overlooking the river Arno. I'm sure Palazzo Fiorentino will truly exceed your expectations.

The Residence is well situated, the architecture and attention to detail is superb, the rooms are well-appointed and a good size. Perhaps most important is the friendly enthusiasm of the young staff, all knowledgeable and very responsive to your requirements.

Recently opened (at the end of 2004), this place is a true gem just waiting to be discovered; the exquisite sense of design and attention to detail, the tasty breakfasts, the 'come and see us any time' atmosphere ... all combine to offer the true spirit of bed and breakfast as opposed to the feeling of the 'formal' Palazzo.

The homely atmosphere continues in the dining/breakfast  room which has a superb red arched brick ceiling. Here guests can chat around the communal breakfast table and arrange to meet for drinks and read a book in front of the beautiful old fireplace.

The building is located on the banks of the River Arno, Florence, and looks out onto the National Library. There are 10 rooms/apartments, including Studio, Suites, and one very unique Superior suite that is on the top floor and has its own private terrace.

Uffizi is on the ground floor, this two-room apartment sleeping 2+2 and enjoying superb views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. There is a bathroom with bathtub, a dining area, a double bedroom, a living room with kitchenette and a most comfortable double sofa bed.

Fiesole accommodates 2, within a two-room flat on the ground floor and with lovely views of the River Arno and Ponte Vecchio. This apartment has a double bedroom, living room with kitchenette and dining area, and a bathroom with tub.

Sleeping 2+2, Pitti is a two-room apartment on the ground floor looking onto the garden. You have a double bedroom, living room with kitchenette, dining area, bathroom with bathtub, and two single, very comfortable sofa beds.

S. Croce accommodates 2+2: this two-room apartment is on the ground floor looking onto the garden. There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub, a living room with kitchenette and very comfortable double sofa bed, a dining area, and a further bathroom with shower.

Sleeping 4+2, The Garden Flat is a large, completely independent apartment, which can be formed by linking two apartments together (Pitti and Santa Croce). The flat is on the ground floor, overlooking the internal garden. You have an entrance hall, two double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with bathtub. There are two other bathrooms, one with bathtub the other with shower, a big living room with double sofa bed, and a dining room with kitchenette.

Sleeping 2+2, Signoria is a two-room apartment on the first floor with great views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio - plus a little balcony with great views. The apartment has a double bedroom, living room with kitchenette and comfortable double sofa bed. There is a dining area and a large bathroom with bathtub.

Bargello accommodates 2+2, this two-room apartment lying on the first floor with views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. The apartment has a double bedroom, living room with kitchenette and very comfortable double sofa bed. You have a dining area and a bathroom with tub.

S. Niccolo sleeps 2+2. This two-room apartment on the second floor has a furnished, equipped terrace overlooking the garden and Florence hills. There is a double bedroom, living room with kitchenette and very comfortable double sofa bed. The flat has a dining area and a bathroom with tub.

Sleeping 2+2, San Miniato is a two-room apartment on the first floor with a view of the garden. It has a double bedroom, living room with kitchenette and two very comfortable single sofa beds. There is a dining area, bathroom with tub and a little balcony.

S. Spirito sleeps 2+3: a two-room apartment on the first floor looking into the garden. It includes a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with bathtub, living room with kitchenette and very comfortable double sofa bed. The flat has a dining area, a small sitting room with single sofa bed and wardrobe, plus a further bathroom with shower.

Ponte Vecchio is the biggest flat and sleeps 6+4 - a large, completely independent apartment made by linking three flats together. On the second floor, is partly overlooks the internal garden, and has views of the Ponte Vecchio. It is composed of an entrance hall, three double bedrooms, three bathrooms, two with bathtub and one with shower. There is a double room with double sofa bed, a large living room with double sofa bed, a dining room with equipped kitchenette, a sitting room with double sofa bed, and a large terrace furnished with table and chairs.

Sleeping 2+2, Belvedere is a two-room apartment on the third and top floor. It has a panoramic terrace gazing over the city centre and the hills around Florence. There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, living room with kitchenette and very comfortable double sofa bed. The flat has a dining area, a bathroom with tub and a small room with single sofa bed. Twenty steps take you out onto the beautiful, panoramic terrace.

Bargello accommodates 2+2: a two-room apartment on the first floor with panoramic views of the Arno and Ponte Vecchio. With one double bedroom, living room with kitchenette and very comfortable, double sofa bed, the flat has a dining area and a bathroom with bathtub.

Note: A few apartments have also a communicating door in the living room and can be booked by a larger extended family wishing to stay together.

Kitchenettes are equipped with a fridge, electric hobs, toaster, and American coffee maker (no oven), dishwasher.
